Question: What are all the red boxes at the bottom of the mosaic with numbers on them?
Answer:
Each of those red boxes gives a suggested advertising size. So for example a 24 box advert would be 24 @ ?5 per box = ?120, etc, And there are many different configurations of each size e.g.. 6 boxes high by 4 boxes wide = 24 or 3 boxes high x 8 boxes wide = 24, etc. Most advertisers choose a space and an image and an approximate budget and then we go from there, creating the best image possible for that price.

Please supply us with an animated image if that is your preference, there is no increase in price for the promotion of an animated advert. The final jpeg/gif/image needs to be the actual size of the advert.

Question: What is a pixel?
Answer:
Pixels are the smallest unit of real-estate on the web. Every page on the web is made up of millions of pixels. The technical definition for pixel is picture element - a single point in a graphical image. Video monitors display images on the web by dividing the display screen into thousands or millions of pixels. The pixels are arranged in rows and columns sufficiently close together so that the displayed images appear connected.

Question: What is pixel advertising?
Answer:
This visually striking and unforgettable new form of advertising was the brilliant invention of UK student called Alex Tew in 2005, he captivated the world press with the success of his colourful creation and Pixel Advertising is now an important part of internet history. The mainstream media heralded pixel advertising as the advertising phenomenon of the decade and today there still exists a global media opportunity for the successful follow-on story. We believe that for pixel advertising sites to succeed, there needs to be the support of a big strong media campaign to generate the necessary traffic volumes. We have over 15 years experience of the Direct Marketing industry and we are keen to see this exciting new advertising format and also useful approach to internet marketing and your website promotion, become the absolute best success we believe it can be in this most logical next stage of development. Pixel advertising is a front-page advertising format presented as a colourful, interactive mosaic of micro-sized adverts and logos. As the customer moves their mouse around the page, a little descriptive hover message pops up for each logo and by clicking on one of those logos the customer is instantly transported to one of our specially chosen advertiser's websites... New customers instantly arrive at your business website with just one click of their mouse button... no need to type an http://www.address, research a magazine page advert or read through lists on wordy search engine pages... No longer relegated to banner ads or link farms, advertisers now have the pixel page to offer a montage of unique advertising art, generating years of regular and building traffic volumes and a worldwide fanbase.

Question: Why are the pixel boxes 100 pixels each?
Answer:
You will see the homepage or mosaic page is divided into 10,000 boxes (or squares) of 100 pixels each. Each box measures 10 pixels wide and 10 pixels high and there are little grey dots marking each of the 4 corners. The color: rgb(128, 128, 0); font-family: Arial;reason for offering advertising space in boxes of 100 pixels is because anything smaller would be too small to display anything meaningful.

Question: How will Floyds attract the media attention of the world?
Answer:
Pixel advertising is the successful invention of a young entrepreneurial UK student called Alex Tew ... Alex hit world headline news with his colourful invention. Alex Tew has been celebrated and talked about extensively in the world press but he has also been widely questioned by the media for creating an advertising format that nobody else has been able to use. There were hundreds of pixel mosaics in quick succession but no real way of generating the necessary traffic volumes. This means that there is still an enormous global media opportunity for the successful use of the Alex Tew format. ... We therefore have the most incredible international "follow-on story" media opportunity of re-capturing the attention of the press who followed the original whirlwind success story of Alex Tew..... the press in Ireland, USA, Germany, Russia, Netherlands, Israel, Italy, Sweden, Ukraine, Poland, Croatia, Belarus, France, India, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Slovakia, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong, China, Brazil, Argentina, Iran, Hungary, Albania, Czech Republic, Canada, Slovak Republic, Spain and Portugal

Question: I have chosen a perfect advertising space, how can I describe where it is?
Answer:
Once you have decided on the best position for your new advert, click on the relevant box/square that will become the top left hand corner of your advert. In the drop down menu you will be given an x coordinate and a y coordinate. If you let us have these x/y coordinates when you order, we will know exactly the position you liked... (To close the drop down menu and return to the mosaic, simply click "Home" in the top left hand corner of the page.) .... Don?t worry though, we can easily go through all this together.. and if you have questions please contact us via the contact page ... We look forward to hearing from you. :)
